Can't initialize Unpartitioned Space in a VMWARE host

Hi,

I am new to this place and I posted this issue earlier in a different forum.

I am trying to add some disk space in one of my VMware RHEL host. The hard disk has a thin provision. So I increased the disk provision size and restarted the server

Now I can see the additional volume in LVM GUI under
Uninitialised Entities>/dev/sda/>Unpartitioned space.

But when I select it, GUI doesn't allow "Initialize Entity" (greyed out)

Currently I have
Volume Groups
Volume Group00>/dev/sda/> Partition2 (/dev/sda2/)
Volume Group00>/dev/sda/> Partition3 (/dev/sda3/)
Unallocated Volumes
/dev/sda> Partition1 (/dev/sda1)

How to add the Unpartitioned Space to the exisitng Volume Group?

Thanks
