Can't get to Desktop; Initial Boot of SuSe 8.2 won't let me past Login Page
I installed SuSe 8.2 on a P2 350mhz desktop with 128mb of RAM, and a 10g hardrive that has windows 2000 and SuSe 8.2.
During the installation it asked me for a Login User name, and password, which i typed into the program. After the intial boot from the hardrive, SuSe took me to a Login screen. I typed in my user name, and then tabbed to Password Box. It won't let me type in any letters into the Password Box, thus I am stuck at that screen. i reinstalled, and it said all files were fine. How do I get past this page to my desktop? help, bram |
Dude - I am not a moderator but it looks like you have posted this same question in FIVE different forums. This goes against LQ guidelines, because any useful information that someone might have in response to your question could end up getting scattered across multiple threads. Please check out the LQ rules and post questions in a single forum. -- J.W.

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
