Can't disable suspension

Hey! My cousin uses Solus Mate and when she leaves her laptop for a while it suspend and log out, it's annoying bcs it's not a good laptop and it takes time to log in again.

Of course i tried to disable suspension in energy settings (like "suspend after 1 hour, suspend never") but it did not work. I also tried this with no success:

Code:
sudo systemctl mask sleep.target suspend.target hibernate.target hybrid-sleep.target
Any help would be appreciated, sorry for my english. Thanks!

Could you describe more precisely what specific steps you took in trying to change the "suspend" settings, that is, what program you used and what specific menu items you accessed?

It might also help to know the make/model of the laptop.

And your English is fine. You don't need to apologize for it.

Thanks!

By "suspend settings" i mean in Mate Power Management ---> On AC Power, On Battery ----> Put computer to sleep when inactive for: Never, Put display to sleep for: Never.

And the laptop info:

VivoBook 14_ASUS Laptop X407UA
OS: Solus x86_64
Kernel: 5.6.18-155.current

I'd wonder about what it is that you are looking at. It could be some bios setting, some screen lock, or as you say some acpi issue. Not sure how to tell exactly but I'd start with the distro for automatic log off or lock settings.

When you ran the command, did you run this afterwards?

>sudo systemctl restart systemd-logind.service

I got a similar problem that I haven't solved so far. It starts with that in the xfce graphical configuration menue the icon for the screen savers is missing. Blanking screen and suspending is different every day.

Until now, I can wake up the laptop always with first Alt+Ctrl+F1, and then Alt+Ctrl+F7. Only sometimes, I need to play up to a minute with those keys ...
