"Call Trace" messages, change syslog level?

Hi,

I've got a SuSE 9.1 here and its producing badness in....kernel/softirc.c:122 (http://www.uwsg.iu.edu/hypermail/lin...03.2/1412.html) messages. This shall be a known bug and it doesn't seem to harm, but it creates every two seconds a messages in /var/log/messages, so the other messages cannot be seen. Now I've created a pipe so that the kern.warning messages are sent somewhere else.
That helped, but now I fear that I miss some warning, because the warning syslog level seems to be important.
Can I change the log-level so that these messages are suppressed?

Thanks,

robe
