bz2


This question may look silly but i have to ask...
Since i start with linux i always used .tar.gz packages, now i end up with a tar.bz2 packetage and i really don't know what to do with it.
Well, can someone stop laughing and get me out of that situation

I always use tar -jpxvf to open my .bz2 files.

Hi,

do a

tar xvfj $package

to extract these packages.
