burn multiple iso's to single DVD?
I downloaded the five install iso's and the add-ons .iso for SUSE 10.1 and installed it. Is it possible to copy the contents of all the CDs to a common folder, then burn the contents of the folder to a DVD, thereby allowing me to boot/install Linux without having to swap CDs? Thanks in advance.

not in the way that you are suggesting (it's not quite that simple)... but you can accomplish what you're talking about if you follow this HOWTO

If you already have a different Linux system to work with, you can use unionfs.
(1) Install unionfs (2) Mount each of the 5 iso images (as a loop device) to a seperate mountpoint (3) Use unionfs to create a union directory of all five mountpoints (4) Burn you DVD from the union For additional background and details, see: http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/7714 Scroll down the page to the section labeled "Merging Distribution ISO Images" |
I found a DVD .iso that includes all 5 CDs and the add-on CD at "en.opensuse.org/download". Thanks for replying!
