in x, try "make xconfig" or "make gconfig", gconfig uses gtk, don't remember if it's 1 or 2.

What I actually meant is a built-in GUI like the GDI of Windows. However, it seems like it's not a very good idea, because you can't run Windows with a GUI. If you exit from the GUI of (Windows 9x/ME), it goes back to DOS. Also, it's not even possible to exit from the GUI of Windows NT/2K/XP.
