Bootup halts after Local Filesystem Quotas

After installing the new kernel, 2.6.14-1.1656_FC4, the bootup halts after it has checked local filesystem quotas and said that was ok.

When I boot with the older kernel, .1644 i think, it works fine.

I saw that the new kernel thinks there's a problem with one of my discs when checking the drives, but it continues to boot after that and yeah, halts after local filesystem quotas..

You probably need way more information than this but i'm still very noobish at linux and dont really know what. or how to solve what seems like a disk fault. Does someone have any tips?

Hmmmm... I say it's a kernel or distro specific problem. FC4 is waaaaay to crappy to use on desktop, and it's _totally_ useless as a server distro. However, _if you REALLY want to be sure_, then get a Live-CD and run fsck on your HD. Always pleased to help. Good luck
