these are some errors i am getting when my redhat 7.2 computer boots up with the kernel i compiled v2.4.19
I was wondering if someone would mind expleining what they mean and how to fix them? i think they might have something to do with why one of my cdroms only works with my new kernel?
these are the errors:
the errors are the bold bits.

When i built my kernel i did:
make mrproper
make xconfig
make dep
make clean
make bzImage
and then copied the bzImage to /boot
nothing else
should i have done something else? this is all i could work out that i had to do.
