Booting my Linux Kernel

I recently built an LFS distro on hda6 w/ Redhat on hda5 and /usr on hda7. I then wanted to remove Redhat and give its hard drive space to LFS. I did, and my bl'er Grub spit up an error and stopped working. I know why it stopped working (b/c it was installed on hda6 which is now my swap space), b/ I want to know how to boot my LFS kernel to fix the problem. I was forced to FIXBOOT to reinstate my winxp bootloader b/ i want to reinstall grub.
