Boot prompt from Graphical LILO ?

Does anyone know if it's possible to interactively pass boot params to the kernel when you're running the graphical version of LILO (as installed by Mandrake 8.1 by default) ?

I want to occasionally choose a different run level when I boot - but I don't think it's possible with the graphical version of LILO - or am I wrong ?

Any help - much appreciated !

Bry
