Boot fail "apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags" Help please
Hi,
I am completely new to Linux and am looking for help with an error I am getting I installed redhat 9 on a PC that already has W2003 installed. W2003 is taking about half the disk space (~10GB) and I am giving redhat the rest (~8GB). I let the redhat install handle the partitioning Everything seemed to go fine with the install but when I try to boot into Redhat it stops at the line that reads "apm: BIOS version 1.2 Flags 0x03 (Driver version 1.16)" Can anyone help with how to fix this? Help would be much appreciated!!!! |
Try disabling power management settings in bios and rebooting
Play around with power management and see if you can get in |
No luck. I changed all the power management options but the boot stopped in the same place

Try to boot into single user mode.
If that fails at the same place then I am lost. |
