boot cd tranfer boot to usb device??
 

hi,

i did a search but couldn't find key words for what i was looking for.
most treads were about pc that have the boot to usb device feature or tranfer from control from floppy drive boot.

has anyone start the boot process with cdrom and transfer control to a usb memory device?
i'm trying this because my laptop bios does not support boot from usb port and i don't have a floppy drive.

i want to use live linux on a usb device instead of a linux livecd.

can someone point me in the right direction?
