Blurry fonts during boot and in tty with fglrx
After switching from Ati radeon drivers to fglrx my fonts during boot and in tty are blurry.
I'm using Slackware which uses lilo.

Tried modifying lilo.conf settings:

append="nokmsboot vt.default_utf8=0"
vga=794 (and other modes)

After making changes fonts are still blurry.

Is there anything else I could try?
Do I need to make any changes in xorg.conf?

Prior to installing fglrx, you were using the open source drivers which support KMS. KMS will provide you with console resolution that's the same as your monitors preferred mode. After installing fglrx, you are using the vesa framebuffer driver, which does not support non-vesa modes.

You could try using uvesafb, but I have no experience with that. There is nothing in xorg.conf that you could try as xorg.conf only impacts X, not the console.

Thanks I'll look into uvesafb
