Blank Screen ?
Hi guys latley the screenn goes blank after a while bt is still on but it's like the computer is going idle or something, It makes watching tv shows/movies pretty hard. I have to constantly keep moving the mouse.
I have a pentium 4 with about 1gb of ram.
Xubuntu 1204lts
I desable xscreensaver still goes blank
any clues to fix ? Thanks

What video player are you using and have you checked the power management settings? There might be power settings in addition to the ones in xscreensaver, but I don't have Ubuntu set up right now so I can check for sure.

Thanks i think i fixed it by doing this in the terminal
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled false
