Bit Torrent clients
 

I'm trying to run a bit -torrent client on my Fedora system. I don't know how to configure any of them. Fedora is my first linux system. I never used a commandline before. I've got no idea what to do. My sytem says I do have the BitTorrent 3.2 package already installed, but I have have no idea how to use it, or if it's configured, or anything.
I tried Azureus too, which has directions for fedora, but I don't understand the directions either.
I'd just like to get ANY BT-Client going so I can stop using windows for all my downloads. They take so long, so I I'm never using my linux system, and I wish to get more familiar with it

Most bittorrent packages come with a number of front-ends for downloading: btdownloadcurses, btdownloadgui and btdownloadheadless are common. It's probably best if you try with btdownloadcurses: this will run inside a text console.

Avoiding the slightly variable task of configuring your browser to handle torrents automatically, you can just download a .torrent file (into /tmp say), and then use btdownloadcurses from there (cd /tmp ; btdownloadcurses myfile.torrent).

If you want to use linux instead of windows why not use wine to run the bittorrent clients you have installed?....if that is a retarded idea sorry im new to linux myself ....just a thought
