Question .bin extensions

I downloaded a file that has a .rpm.bin extension. I don't know what to do with the .bin. Can anyone help me?

sh file.bin
should be OK

What Neo says is right. It will extract the file into an RPM file, which then you can either use your favorite package manager, or in a console type:
rpm -i <file>

This will install the program.

But why do they do the .rpm.bin thing anyway, why not just RPM? Anyone know?
