Best method to convert a DOCX file to TeX file? (word to latex)

Hello,

So far, I believe that there is something else than Libreoffice and save as HTML and then pandoc from html to TeX. It results in strange results. it might be better by far.

What is the best method to convert a DOCX file to TeX file? (word to latex)

Best regards

I have had some luck with Pandoc.
You could also try docx2tex.

I can suggest two variants. Use latex2rtf (useful if you use standart math and no tables) or tex4ht (does the same job). Also AdobeExportPDF would be a good variant, but it's paid.

the best is likely to install libreoffice

install the converter docx to latex for export (ugly ok, but works)

export to latex, and get all the pics created.

pictures wont be embedded into html code
