Best Linux HTPC system

I am have part of a HTPC. I wanna make it a linux box. Here is my set up
AMD 64 4000+
eVGA 6600GT
120GB maxtor IDE
Hauppauge 250
SB audigy 2 ZS

I need something that will work with these components. I am also going to get a Firefly PC remote. I would like to be able to progrma that and use it on Linux. ANy suggestions? I need a good distro. Easy to configure. A newbie distro. Preferably 64bit. Also a link on where to download it.

What do you mean? I know all of those are compatiable in Mandrake. I think it is MythTV or anotherone works in Linux. Just the PC remote I am not sure of. I might go with mandrkae 64 bit. I would have to check on the remote though.
