now i am using MANDRAKE 9.1... and i get error... then next error... and then next error... if i want run any program i must fix about 5-10 errors.... (missing libs, not supportet OpenGL, missing modules etc...)

i want to change it because now i CANT RUN ANY OPEN GL program/game

i want use linux 4:
1. programming (QT DESIGNER(love it) , C++)
2. winex (i have rpm from trangameing it should work fine in any linux )
3. server (apache2 & ftp)
4. playing FLIGHT GEAR (OPEN GL MUST WORK CORRECTLY)

if distro that is best for me and work best is quite hard its not problem ^^ i like new things

which linux distro is best 4me...?

my config on which linux should work is:

Intel Celeron 2,4 + 512MB RAM DDR (333) + EPOX (lan-onboard) (mainboard) + GeForce4 mx (64mb) tv-out + SB Live!

Try gentoo if you got a broadband connection.Setup for nvidia and 3d acceleration is a piece of cake with it.
Forgot to mention:reading is required for the installation - no gui.

Perhaps you should download the OpenGL drivers... or perhaps you should install the system properly. I am running Mandrake 9.1 and have no problem at all. I even run Quake3 (THE best OpenGL-only game)

hmmm i will try gentoo ^^...

i will get orginal cd`s in 3-4 days....
