Best distribution for multimedia/music DAW
 

I've been using Fedora Core 2 for some time now, but keep having problems whit my TerraTec DMX6fire soundcard, and would therefore like to try another distribution.

Any suggestions?

I've been looking at Gentoo for various other reasons, but I'm not sure how it handles my soundcard and ohter DAW isssues.

What troubles did FC2 gave you? audio is mostly kernel depedent

anyway, i've heard good things about SuSe for audio
