Benefit of NOT using UTC on the hardware clock?

Hi.

This is purely my curiosity... what are the benefits of NOT using UTC for the hardware clock? The only thing I can think of is that the use of UTC can be an issue if you multi-boot with Windows. Any other reasons?

TIA,
Dai

Yep, the only thing that will benefit is if you dual-boot Windows twice a year when we go on and off stupid time (if only someone could provide actual proof that something is "saved," sigh). Other than that it doesn't matter one way or the other.
