bash in slackware 8.1
i jsut installed slack 8.1
i was jsut wondering if anyone knew how to get the shell to use bash as defualt thers no bash_profile files or bashrc type files in slack ware... am i psoe to make these myself or osmethign i used to usered hat 7.2 its kinda all setup and stuff arleady jsut not sure how to do allt hat stuff manually on slack... |
also when i try and change virtual windows or wahtever its called
like contl alt f1 etc when i change back to my x-window it dosnet sswitch back properly i have to kill the xwindow and restart it .... can set this up so it dosnet do htat? |

well in x windows the xterm uses sh as defualt and when i try and vi something the format is all wierd

also liek.. i tried chaning the prompt look by editing ~/.bashrc
and like.. it dosnet change anythign..... |
