BASH command prompt


My BASH's command prompt looks like this: progmaker@linux:~>
Well, it's not very useful. Maybe it's possible to add something else to this line? Like time, date? Or jus somehow change it?

Hi.

You need to change the PS1 variable in ~/.bashrc

Mine looks like:

PS1='[$? \u@\h \W]\$ '
Which gives:
Code:
[0 dave@cronus audio]$
