how come whenever the system freezes and i dont shut it down properly i end up having major hard drive problems, like it cant be remounted and stuff like that? and i can never fix it and its really pissing me off . . . HELP??!!

linux requires after a non-proper shutdown to check the harddisks... so tell your system to stop freezing and you shouldn't have to do this each time.. :D

it checks the disks though and finds like duplicate inodes or something and it says to run fsck manually and it doesnt work and... i dont know what to do from there

and your running fsck manually on your hardrive ?? if so, what does it come up with...
