backtrack 2 beta freezes on boot
Hello all. I recently obtained backtrack 2 (auditor and WHAX combined). The problem I have is that during bootup of the livecd, it comes to:
Starting PCMCIA services:
<probing for PCIC...>
Cardmgr[4554]: watching 1 socket
_
FROZEN
nothing happens after this. I've let it sit for a while, but when it comes to this point its clear that its frozen. Before "Starting PCMCIA services:" it says use 'slax nopcmcia' at the boot prompt. I do and it says "no kernal named slax". ummm? Thanks for the input.
I'm on a toshiba satellite, about a year old...

Hi.
It was "slax nopcmcia" in Backtrack 1
in BT2 it is:
Yeah, its a "bug", they didnt remember to update boot options, there is "slax copy2ram" etc when it should be "bt copy2ram"
