Backspace using konsole

I noticed the KDE terminal program (konsole) has no setting to change backspace to ^H instead of ^?. This causes problems when I telnet to some other flavor of unix (such as HP-UX). Anyone know a quick fix for this?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I do use, but I have to execute that every time I telnet to another host. We have a lot of servers, so I probably type that command 20 times a day.

I did some looking into it and found the solution... I went to the /usr/share/apps/konsole directory and copied one of the existing .keytab files to my own. I then modified the new file and changed the following line:

key Backspace : "\x7f"

to:

key Backspace : "\b"

This seemed to do the trick.

That worked for me too. Thanks.
