backing up printers in cups

I have tryed backing up /usr/share/cups and then deleting a printer then restoring my backed up archive to /usr/share/cups, this did not bring back the deleted printer. What can I backup so I can restore my printers.

Cups has a web interface. Put this into your browser:

http://localhost:631/

Click Administration
Login as root with root's password.

Add your printer(s), delete ones that no longer exist etc.
