I want to backup one machine to another. I was wondering if dump worked on ext3 because the man for dump and the dump site gives that impression. Anyway this is what I tryed:
dump 0uf backupcomputer:/tmp /tmp
and I this is what I get
DUMP: backupcomputer: Connection refused
DUMP: login to backupcomputer as root failed.
