Azureus Headless error message
Hello,
Because I have many different classes at school that require me to collaborate with people and exchange research and such, I've started posting all my research to torrents so that my peers could access them without me having to serve them the data all the time -- I can shut down my server sometimes, and allow them to complete the download later.
I've found that azureus is the best program on linux to work with torrents,
however... I don't forward X11 or VNC connections through an ssh tunnel from my home server to a school computer.
Azureus works flawlessly when I am physically at my computer, however, it doesn't work through commandline -- I can't take care of torrent business from school.
A friend told me to put the azureus headless .jars in my Azureus plugin install path, which I believe is: /home/<my username>/.azureus/plugins/azplugins/. Anyway, the azureus wiki tells me to download all three jars put them in the same directory, (which I believe I put under azplugins), and run "java -jar Azureus2.jar --ui=console" in the command line. Currently the files are all together in a folder in the install path: commandline (my name for the folder with all the files). So the setup is /home/<myuser>/.azureus/plugins/azplugins/commandline/ and then all three jars are in there.
When I run the command I get this error message: "Failed to load Main-Class attribute from Azureus2.jar" Technically the filename of the main jar is Azureus3033-B02.jar when I try "java -jar Azureus3033-B02.jar --ui=console" I get the same error message. Currently, Azureus does not run from commandline whatsoever
What can I do to fix this?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
