avi to iso failure

For months I have successfully downloaded DVD movies from The Pirate Bay, suddenly after devede conversion, avi to iso I get the word 'streaming' and nothing will play, and even when I wrote to disc (in desperation) the disc is empty.

Well, I don't know how much help people are going to want to give considering you are pirating films, but it would probably helped if you gave...any detail at all. Like what software you are using, what distribution, what codecs (AVI is a container for multiple video codecs), what the actual commands you used were, etc, etc.

As it is, there is nothing anyone can really do for you.

I appreciate you taking the time to post a comment, but if I wanted comments on the morality of downloading movies I would have asked for them. Considering the thousands of seeders and peers on Pirate Bay forgive my lack of interest. From anyone else who CAN offer assistance, it is just odd that this problem on the devede programme (via Ubuntu and Linux) has just occurred. I am finding it most difficult to find out just what 'streaming' means after converting from avi to iso.

Like MS3FGX says, you need to post more info about what you are doing, converting what to what ?

And yes, don't just come on here and say: Hey guys I just downloaded _______ off PB and can you help me with ...

This forum does not support piracy, and you shouldn't advocate it here, even if it's just saying that you did it. You could have easily formulated the question so as to be less offensive.

As already stated, we're not discussing piracy here.
