I wonder if it's possible to login automatically whenever I boot my computer.

What X environment do you boot to?

KDE I know real well(for a newbie anyway), so I will tell you how to in that.

Go to the control Panel (Not your distro control panel but KDE Control panel) K--->Configure---->System(I think)---->Control Panel

There is about 5 options: Boot, Hardware, Services...

Choose Boot

Damn, I wish I was at home so that this would be more accurate.

In there I think you click the tab at the top that says "advanced" and then you can choose to autologin and who you want to autologin with.

I think that's how it goes anyway.

You can try this in KDE:

K --> Preferences --> System ---> Login Manager

In the window that pops-up click on the Conveneince tab.

Then check the Enable auto Login, and select the user that you want to autologin.
