Audio dump from Xine?

Hi all.

I'm looking for a way of dumping audio from Xine to a file (raw or wav, whatever), but I have been unable to find anything.

I'm using OSS emulation on ALSA. MPlayer has an output plugin which can do this, but I'm using codecs that MPlayer has trouble with.

I would have thought this wouldn't be too much of a problem what with the 'everything's a file' mentality of unix/Linux.

Any thoughts?

Dave

In answer to my own question, the latest version of xine now has a wav writer among its audio output plugins.
