assign disk quota or size limit to a specific directory or folder on fedora

I want to assign maximum size limit to directory on fedora.Can someone tell me the commands.

You could have a problem; quotas are defined per file-system; effectively partitions for simple disks, or logical volumes for LVM

You can do this
mount your folder as loop device
#mount -o loop,usrquota <your folder> <where to mount>
Now treat this mounted folder as filesystem
Apply quotacheck command
#quotacheck -cvf <mounted filesystem>
#quotaon <mounted filesystem>
#edquota -u <username>
