are O'Reily linux books free online?

hi. i've found that it is easy to get the O'reily books related to linux online. And im not talking about ebooks from some p2p program. Is this possible because the way linux is open source and a community that the information should be freely available? Or maybe it isn't oreily doing it but they seem legit. Anyone know more about the situation then i? thanks for any replies in advance.

Is the site you linked to ok? I mean in a legal sense. I'm kind of leary of sites that use the term 'warez' on the homepage. Not judging, just wondering.

"i don't undestand what u are intending to say."
I meant no offence. The page on that website listing the books may well be 100% legitimate. That's why my comment was worded as a question. It was just a friendly 'heads-up'.
Peace

Looks kinda sketchy to me, first of all there does not seem to be any sort of disclaimer stating that he has gotten permission from _any_ one of the several publishers whose books he is offering for download.

Also, linked from the main page there are software cracks available for download.

Plus the .cx domain is a dead-givaway. Not to say there isn't any legitamate .cx websites, but generally this one is used by those who are looking for an umbrella of lax internet laws.

I would stay away from this one...

Yes, they're free, they're just not legal. ;)
