are KDE themes backwards compatable?

hey guys. getting to like linux ALOT. One of the things i need to take from windows is a dark GUI theme. I currently run Eshock Frozen. i totally love it. ive tried others but this is the best. I think theres an eshock for kde, but the site is in spanish.

The reason i NEED the dark theme is because im visually impaired. The brighter themes cause alotta pain and such. The dark blue ones are easy to look at and i can kill all nite in front of my PC no problem.

I was trying to find BlueSteel for KDE but i cant. I can find it for gnome.

I went to kde-look.org. theyve got great ones, but mainly for kde 3.1 or lower. Im on kde 3.2. Would i be able to run the 3.1 themes on kde 3.2?

if not does anyone have a GOOD link for alotta themes? Thanks in advance guys

I would expect that you could install lower level themes in a higher level KDE, but not the reverse. However, the lower level themes may have been compiled using a lower lever compiler as well. You may have to install from source and recompile on your machine to get them to work.
