Arabic web site

Hello:

Recently we have set up a dedicated web server (actually ordered from a hosting provider) for a web site. The server is RedHat Linux. The web site is in Arabic.

There is some problem in displaying the pages in Arabic. After downloading the page doesn't display the text or even the graphics/Flash. It remains empty. But the code is downloaded to the browser (view source).

The character set used for Arabic is :
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1256">
Also tried:
<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-6">

When I checked the browser the text encoding is showing as UTF-8. The same web site is set up on a FreeBSD server. From this server it is working fine and encoding in browser shows as Arabic-Windows.

Please help me to figure otu this problem.

Regards
Sheni

Look at the Help file for the browser. Look for Preferences; instructions for setting language fonts.
