Question apt-get failure

Just upgraded PCLinuxOS. Everything went fine. Then this error
apt-get: symbol lookup error: apt-get: undefined symbol: _ZNK13Configuration7FindDirEPKcS1_

What's the fix for this? Thanks for any help. Happy New Year to all at LQ.

Try opening Synaptic and going to Edit-->Fix Broken Packages or running apt-get -f as root. (For some fool reason, I don't seem to have much luck with the apt-get command.)
