applying patch?


Hi i need to apply a patch to my linux kernel because i need to add a new feauture... The problem is that the patch is for the 2.6.2-rc2 . I have the 2.6.5 and 2.6.8 versions... Do u know if i can also apply the patch to them?

If after reading that you still can't figure it out (or no one else has answered), post again
