Unhappy Apache2 mod_ssl loaded but no ssl connections?


Yes the mod_ssl i loaded and stuff look!

Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3408/apache2
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:443 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3408/apache2 <<<<<<



You see and if i do

https://localhost
i get this!!


An error occured while loading https://localhost:


Could not connect to host localhost

Please help me i really appreciate it!! thank you so much!

Unhappy something else

i've keep on playing with in for like 2 hours now and i find out that if i do this

localhost:443

it will connecto to my server? but i dont know if it secure!

i wnat people to connect using https://mydomain.com

if localhost works then possibly your firewall had port 443 blocked?

Unhappy no im not running a firewall

i have a router but it shoulnt matter if im accesing though localhost!!
