Apache SSL started, pages won't display

Hi all,

I am using Slack9.0, kernel v 2.4.20
My apache configuration.
Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.7a PHP/4.3.1 configured --
resuming normal operations

Able to start my apache with SSL support -DSSL

A simple tryout on this manual page won't display using https. It displayed
when using normal http
<Location /var/www/htdocs/manual>
SSLRequireSSL
</Location>

Client using MS IE 6.0

Appreciate any ideas or suggestions to fix this.
