apache problem


hello

I have httpd processes of some user which stays alive for long time


1304 nobody 15 0 97096 19m 6024 S 0 0.9 0:24.46 httpd
1298 nobody 15 0 97124 18m 5268 S 0 0.9 0:23.90 httpd
1301 nobody 15 0 97576 19m 6188 S 0 1.0 0:23.44 httpd
1294 nobody 15 0 97088 18m 5488 S 0 0.9 0:22.88 httpd
1297 nobody 15 0 97256 20m 7608 S 2 1.0 0:20.77 httpd
1296 nobody 15 0 96952 17m 4772 S 0 0.9 0:19.99 httpd


how to configure httpd.conf or anything else to stop them automatically for example after 15 seconds ?

I have apache 1.3

unluckly no , because I don't want limit on the number of requests but limit the time for each httpd process.
