When i try to start apache2:

Apache complains about eth1 not being found "no such device"

well i understand apache cant find eth1 since im using eth0.
But how do i fix this? what have told apache to use eth1 ?

If you have an eth1, check to make sure it's down, check to make sure that an IP address assigned to it isn't in your httpd.conf file.
