there is a folder in my /var/www/htdocs called music but i want it only for me when im at skool....how could i make it so that u need a password to open that folder on the web...thanks

See the section in the Apache manual about .htaccess and htpasswd. You didn't specify which version of Apache you're running. Apache 2's manual has a couple of tutorials on authentication, .htaccess, etc. that are pretty thorough in describing how to set this up.
