Anything similar to WOW or Telekin UI?

Does anyone know of a distro with a UI (or a desktop environment) similar to the Telekin (or WOW) computers? Or any kind of all-in-one desktop where news articles, recent emails, bookmarks/favorites, and favorite app launchers are all displayed for quick, easy access on the user's home screen?

those appear to be touch screen desktops. so they are probably running either win8, or android as their desktop. what are you looking for in more detail? if you are looking for that type of touch screen user interface, then get an android tablet or look into a chromebook.

Thanks for the response! They tout the touchscreen aspect heavily but I don't care about that (or any of the hardware for that matter.) It's not running Windows, Android or ChromeOS. The Telikin UI runs on top of Tiny Core Linux, and I'm looking for a similar UI/DE.
Criteria are:
Boots to (and easily returns to) a desktop that has...
  • A section showing recent and/or unread emails. Clicking on one to read/forward/reply - or composing a new message opens it in a modal window.
  • A section showing bookmarks for quick access to favorite websites
  • A section showing news articles from selected sites
  • A [optional] section showing recent photos from one or more photo streams
  • A launcher section for favorite apps
  • An input box with multiple buttons for web searches -- type the search query, then click the desired button- Google, Wikipedia, Amazon, Yahoo, etc.
In other words, "one stop shopping" - on the desktop - with all the things that a casual/low-tech user would need.

I have never tried it, but form your description I would guess that the most fitting would be ChromeOS.
