any method for finding time for accessing a block from disk..


Is there any way to find the time required for accessing a block
from disk?

In my opinion you have been asking nothing but homework questions in your threads. Sure LQ will help but without providing any evidence that you have put in any effort yourself it's a one-sided thing and that's not good. Providing the necessary details, showing you do (or don't) understand VFS and I/O scheduling, might provide a better start.
