And I heard that counter-strike is going to be available for linux fans in the first quarter of 2002.

Why bother wiaiting to see if they ever port it. i have counterstirke running almost perfectly in WineX right now anyways.

That's just your opinion. Doom series was much better than Quake.

I have to mention The Battle for Wesnoth.No 3d or fanciness but a great strategy game.Usually comes with a few scenarios (campaigns)and more can be downloaded from within the game.Ive wasted weeks playing this.ps try and install it via your distros package manager as it is takes a while to build from source.
