I'm running Mandrake 8.2 and I'm looking for the source code for some of the programs ( not anyone inparticular ). So far, my searches have had me looking for src.rpm and src.cooker and I've come up empty handed on both of these. I've located the /usr/src directory where it shoud be installed ( from what I've read ). There is a RPMS directory under it with several more directories under that, all of which are empty. I've heard the source comes along on the cd's but I'm having no luck finding any of it. Should I even be looking on the cd's or should I look elsewhere?

Look on the second and third CDs. There should be a directory called SRPMS. You will find source there.

I thought so too but there isn't.

Do you mean there are NO sources, or just a few "general" ones that you are looking for?
