Anacron question...

Hello all. I've got an RHEL4 server with the following anacron config:

Code:
SHELL=/bin/sh
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin
MAILTO=root

1   65  cron.daily      run-parts /etc/cron.daily
7   70  cron.weekly     run-parts /etc/cron.weekly
30  75  cron.monthly        run-parts /etc/cron.monthly
The question I have is, what day does anacron choose to run scripts in the cron.weekly folder?

Is it Monday, or Sunday? Neither?

Thanks...

Dan

Answered my own question. The last time cron.weekly was run was Sunday morning.

I'd guess that it probably depends on your locale settings. The first day of the week is defined by your LC_TIME configuration (see 'man 5 locale').

Thanks for the response. I was able to verify that Sunday was at the beginning of the day list for my locale. I'm guessing based on that that cron.weekly runs on the first day in the list...
