An Alternative boot loader for dual boot systems.

If you dual boot with XP as I do you probably have also experienced the pain when windows has to be reinstalled, of looking for the boot flopy you created to rebooy linux and reinstall grub. Well I found this a month ago, (it has been around for awhile so forgive me if you have already herd of it) it is a boot loader called GAG. It is a bit differnt than grub or lil in that it doesn,t boot any specefic kernel but it boots either grub or lilo. In other words you install grub to the same partition as you install your nix, and set the boot lag too 0 or 2 secs if you want the failsafe or mem test options, the same I guess as you would if linux was your only OS. Then you either burn the GAG iso image or create a floppy and configure and place Gag on the mbr. You can either reconfigure and install after a windows redo or copy your GAG configuration to flopy, either way is a quick and easy repair and best of all it doesn't mater if you instal a dif. Linux later it will still recognize the new grub or lilo. It is also an atractive boot loader with icons for Linux free Bsd windows and other OSs. It is also open source. I know most Nix users are die hard grub or lilo users, but I thought this might be usefull to some so pl. save the flaming .

Thanks for that -
It's nice to see an alternative boot loader at last!
I use Dyne:bolic boot disk and have been a bit worried about installing it to boot off the hard drive along with my Windows 98 AND Xp partitions AND my Ubuntu partition. This sounds just the thing!

It may be worth mentioning that although not my preferred choice, you can actually use the windows bootloader to boot linux if you wanted to.
